“On a daily basis, CVE Troopers seek to remove unsafe drivers and commercial motor vehicles from our roadways before they are involved in a crash, as well as holding the key responsibility in enforcing the State’s weight limitations. Besides taking enforcement action on the side of the road, these specially trained Troopers spent countless hours throughout the year in educating drivers, mechanics, and motor carrier representatives on best safety practices to assist them in achieving regulatory compliance. From answering questions to providing training, to conducting interactive safety meetings, CVE Troopers share their expertise, further assisting with achieving the goal of safety,” TXDPS said.
