Traffic cams catch semi truck colliding with stopped traffic on Arkansas interstate

Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) traffic cameras captured a collision involving multiple semi trucks that occurred on Tuesday in St. Francis County.

The crash occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on March 18 near Forrest City.

In the the traffic cam video, you can see a semi truck driver fail to stop for the slowed traffic on I-40, colliding with a second semi’s trailer and sending that truck forward to hit a bobtail truck

Local outlet KARK reports that at least one person was injured and that hazmat was involved.
