Troopers from Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas team up for joint commercial vehicle inspection operations

Louisiana State Police (LSP) recently partnered with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) and the Arkansas Highway Patrol (AHP) for initiatives to identify unsafe commercial vehicles.

On July 31, 2025, LSP and MHP held a a joint enforcement operation focused on identifying unsafe commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) traveling across Louisiana and Mississippi.

• 22 inspections
• 69 vehicle violations
• 2 driver violations
• 6 weight violations
• 22 out-of-service violations

On August 20, 2025, LSP and AHP “teamed up for a detail on US 167 at the Arkansas–Louisiana line, focused on quality Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program (MCSAP) and weight inspections.”
