Troopers nab commercial vehicle driver ‘trying to make it from Iowa to Tennessee’ for several serious violations

The Iowa State Patrol Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit (ISPCMVU) sidelined a “dangerous vehicle” spotted last night on I-380.

Iowa troopers encountered the ill-maintained commercial vehicle on Monday night on I-380 “trying to make it from Iowa to Tennessee.”

“In addition to the violations shown here, as well as many others, the driver did not have a license, medical card, log book, any required documentation, and the company was under a federal out-of-service order,” ISPCMVU said.

“Dangerous vehicles like these are exactly what we aim to get off the roadway to protect motorists!” troopers said.

Iowa troopers shared images of the truck and the vehicle violations discovered.
