Truck driver arrested on suspicion of DUI after hitting ‘several parked cars’ and four poles

The San Bernardino Police Department (SBPD) recently responded to an “extensive property damage” involving a semi truck.

The incident took place shortly after 4 a.m. on May 3 in San Bernardino, California.

Police say that a semi truck collided with “several parked cars” and also “struck two utility poles and two light poles near Arrowhead and Rialto Avenue.”

The driver of the semi truck sustained minor injuries.

Police reported that the collision caused “extensive property damage.”

“He was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He was a private contract driver,” SBPD said.
