A truck driver is charged with attempted murder in connection to a road rage incident in Pennsylvania earlier this week.
The incident happened at about 5 p.m. on September 10th at the AC&T fuel center at 11560 Hopewell Road in Hagerstown, Maryland.
According to Tri State Alert, the road rage confrontation between a pickup truck and a tractor trailer began on eastbound Interstate 70 near Interstate 81 and then continued onto I-81 before the two drivers eventually exited onto Halfway Boulevard and headed west.
Once on Halfway Boulevard, the semi truck driver fired shots at the pickup truck driver. Three bullets struck the pickup truck, but no one was hurt.
Police eventually found the tractor trailer and truck driver and took him into custody. He has been identified as 33-year-old Willie Laurence Wooten Jr. A firearm was then discovered on the floorboard of the semi truck.

Wooten is facing charges of two counts of attempted first degree murder, two counts of attempted second degree murder, two counts of first degree assault, and two counts of second degree assault. He is also facing charges of reckless endangerment from a motor vehicle, use of a firearm in a violent crime, carrying a loaded handgun, and carrying a handgun.
Wooten is currently being held at the Washington County Detention Center without bond.
