Trucker of 50 years has a few positive words of wisdom for anyone who asks

A truck driver of 50 years offers a few positive words of wisdom for a man behind a camera looking to interview drivers. 

In the video, the trucker claims to have been driving for 50 years, and is still loving it. He also says that he loves hunting in Vermont in addition to trucking. 

When asked what advice he has for any upcoming drivers, he says “just give it a shot,” and advises staying out on the road no less than six weeks before deciding if the career is for you. 

The driver says he has a great relationship with his wife and kids, and urges any other young men to choose their spouse carefully – a supportive wife who understands your love for the road is crucial to success. 

“If your wife wants you to stay home, it won’t work,” he says.
