A truck driver survived a dangerous plunge off of the Twin Span Bridge in New Orleans on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened just after 2 p.m. on westbound Interstate 10 halfway across the Twin Span Bridge on January 28th.
According to 4WWL, the tractor trailer went over the bridge railing and crashed into the water below.

Authorities say that one person has been pulled from the water alive. Their current condition is not known.
No further information on the accident has been released. Travelers heading west are advised to seek alternate routes.
