A truck driver unknowingly dragged a wrecked car for over a mile after the teenage driver crashed into the back of his truck on Sunday morning.
The accident happened on Sunday, February 23rd at around 9:45 a.m. on the Mississippi River Bridge along Interstate 10 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
According to WBRZ, the car was driving erratically just before crashing into the back of the semi truck on top of the Mississippi River Bridge, wedging the car beneath the tractor trailer.
The truck driver unknowingly kept driving until another motorist who witnessed the crash was able to flag him down and alert him that something was wrong. The semi truck traveled a mile and a half down the interstate before coming to a stop blocking the Washington Street exit.
The motorist was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as 19-year-old William Gray. No further information has been released.
