A couple of truckers worked together to stop traffic after a pickup truck’s unsecured load scatters across an Alabama interstate.
The video was filmed on northbound Interstate 65 in Mobile, Alabama.
In the very beginning of the clip, a pickup hauling a trailer loses a whole lot of something all over I-65 and just keeps on going. Multiple cars, trucks, and other vehicles dodge the debris, until a man in a neon safety jacket pulls onto the shoulder (at about minute 1:20) and cleans up the mess the best he can while traffic is still flowing.
By minute 4:00, one trucker, and then a second, stops in the middle of the highway, blocking the flow of traffic in the lanes plagued by the most debris. This allows the man in the neon jacket to successfully and more safely clear the stuff out of the road.
A work truck then pulls up on the other side of the highway and the man hops the concrete barrier, helping the first man until the job is done.
Without the truckers, that situation could have been way worse in a whole lot of ways. Good job, drivers!
