VIDEO: Flatbed trailer hauling coils flips completely upside down, but at least the straps held?

A flatbed trailer loaded with coils flipped completely upside down in this video, but at least the straps held everything in place.

In the clip, the semi truck is parked near a building when the flatbed trailer just starts to flip. The trailer rolls until it comes to a stop completely upside down, leaving the truck seemingly unscathed and still parked.

Considering the straps held the coils in place despite the dramatic flip, we’d say the driver at least knows how to strap a load securely. We’re not sure what happened with the trailer though.

“It’s a wonder he made it this far, the way it looks the load is all the way to the one side, I can’t imagine that it didn’t flip over going down the road,” one viewer commented.

“Looks like he dropped the trailer as requested and the dolly leg collapsed, be careful what you ask for!” added another.

“You’re supposed to roll the legs down first, unhook the air lines second, unhook the kingpin third then drive out from under the trailer last driver. Looks like you only pulled the kingpin then drove out!!” wrote a third.
