Video shows trucker rescuing woman sitting on top of her car during Texas flood

A truck driver’s good deed was caught on video this week amid severe flooding in Pharr, Texas.

Many parts of southern Texas saw intense flooding as a storm dumped as much as a foot of rain on the area on Thursday.

The video shared on social media was reportedly captured on Veteran’s Blvd at Exit 147A, in Pharr, Texas.

In the video, you can see deep flood water forced a female motorist to the top of her car. An approaching semi truck driver gestures towards the woman to let her know he’s coming to help. After he stops in front of her car, he opens the door and extends a hand to assist the motorist into the cab of his truck.
