A semi truck hauling construction equipment knocks a combine harvester right off the road in this poorly executed pass caught on camera.
In the video, a semi truck reportedly hauling a D11 CAT bulldozer is traveling along a rural road thought to be about 12 feet wide when it encounters a combine harvester making its way along the road at no more than 25 mph.
The truck driver hauling the wide load, the push truck, the pilot car, and anyone else potentially in the convoy apparently decide that the right move is to just push on through. The convoy then tries to pass the John Deere X9 and ends up smacking into it, pushing it into the roadside ditch.
“Bad trucking and even worse piloting, where were the piloting trucks in that situation?” one viewer commented.
“Think that operator lost his job? Both the spotter and the truck driver failed. I can’t even imagine being tossed around like that in a combine. Be like shaking a fishbowl with a goldfish in it,” added another.
