Watch crew finally remove semi truck cab from NC river 4 months after Helene

Watch as this crew removes a submerged semi truck cab from a river in North Carolina months after Hurricane Helene. 

In the clip, the US Army Corps of Engineers crew removes a blueish purple semi truck from the Swannanoa River in Buncombe County, North Carolina, using a crane. 

The semi truck is seriously smashed up with plants and dirt and all kinds of debris in its engine compartment. 

“The orange Urban Search and Rescue marking on the vehicle indicates that it was cleared for safety during initial search operations immediately following the storm,” the caption reads.
