A Louisiana utility truck caused a wreck on icy roads when it lost control in front of a line of tractor trailers in the traffic cam video.
In the clip, a utility truck hauling a trailer on eastbound Interstate 10 near Ruth Street in Louisiana loses control on an icy highway and skids out in front of an oncoming semi truck before sliding into another utility truck.
The three vehicles then come to a stop in the right lanes of travel, forcing another oncoming semi truck to take evasive maneuvers to avoid the pile-up. The driver manages to avoid crashing into the back of the wrecked tractor trailer and another driver nearly skids out while trying to slow down for the collision.
After the initial wreck, semi truck after semi truck, along with a few more utility trucks, slide a bit while trying to slow down for the accident, making it pretty clear that no one driving through Louisiana knows what “too fast for conditions” means when it comes to icy roads.
