The Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) is planning to conduct commercial vehicle inspection details in the coming weeks.

On August 1, a Mobile Education and Enforcement Team (MEET) detail took place on US 85 between Torrington and Cheyenne, Wyoming, according to WHP’s Commercial Carrier Division.

During the US 85 commercial vehicle inspection operation, officers made contact with more than two dozen drivers.

Seven commercial vehicle inspections were conducted, resulting in one driver and one tractor trailer being placed out-of-service.

WHP said that addition inspection operations are in the works:
“In the coming weeks our teams will be conducting more roadside details at various sites across the state. Please be sure your logs are correct and your vehicles are in great working order. We need everyone’s help to make our highways safe.“
