An employee of 48 years is now featured on the side of Hy-Vee semi trucks after spending his entire career at one Iowa store.
Bill Baker was honored during an unveiling of the new wrapped trailer on Tuesday, May 12th outside of the Washington, Iowa Hy-Vee store.
According to Southeast Iowa Union, Baker has been working at the same store since he was 16 years old, and has held a variety of positions at the store over the last 48 years. He currently works as a dairy manager there.
Baker was also given a die-cast semi truck featuring a trailer wrapped with his photo, along with a few other long-time employees.
Hy-Vee first started honoring long-time employees with semi truck wraps in 1997.
