48th Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree Kicks Off July 9 At Iowa 80 – the World’s Largest Truckstop

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – July 6, 2026 WALCOTT, IA – The Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree kicks off this week at the World’s Largest Truckstop! The event proudly celebrates America’s Truckers with a Super Truck Beauty Contest, Antique Truck Display, Trucker Olympics, two fireworks shows, live concerts, and over 150 exhibits to browse. The event also features the famous Iowa 80 Kitchen pork chop cook out.

You don’t want to miss this year’s free concerts, featuring local favorite Dani Lynn Howe and Band at 5:00 PM and the Schmidt Brothers at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 9th, and Angela Meyer and the Western Stars at 5:00 PM on Friday, July 10th, opening for Little Texas. Little Texas is known for their hits “God Blessed Texas”, “Amy’s Back in Austin”, and “You and Forever and Me”. Saturday’s concert will start at 1:00 PM and feature band Shiny Shiny Black at the Jamboree main stage. 

The Walcott Truckers Jamboree held their first driver appreciation event in 1979 with a small antique truck display, pork chop cookout, and a few exhibits. The event has grown significantly to include more events to enjoy, such as the Trucker Olympics, Lights at Night competition, fireworks, and a 100th birthday party for an antique truck in the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum collection. 

The 48th Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree will be held July 9-11, 2026 at the Iowa 80 Truckstop, I-80 Exit 284, Walcott, Iowa. Admission and parking are FREE! Shuttles will be provided from the parking area to the event grounds. See the full schedule of events at truckersjamboree.com.
