Arizona troopers find 225 violations during two days of maximum enforcement commercial vehicle operations

The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Highway Patrol found hundreds of violations during three operations targeting commercial vehicles over a two day period.

AZDPS troopers with the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit conducted three “maximum enforcement details” January 13 and January 14, 2026, at the McGuireville rest area, Vicksburg, and Casa Grande.

During the three operations, troopers were focused on “collision-causing hazardous violations.”

  • 65 commercial vehicle inspections
  • 225 DVER violations
  • 10 drivers placed out-of-service
  • 15 vehicles placed out-of-service,
  • 2 CMV collisions investigated
