The Arkansas State Police (ASP) is seeking public assistance in locating a commercial truck reportedly involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a motorist hospitalized this week.
Troopers say that the crash occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. on December 30, 2025, on I-530 South near the 34-mile marker.
According to ASP, the driver of an orange Dodge Charger was “forced off the roadway” by a red Peterbilt truck pulling a silver hopper-bottom grain trailer.
“The Dodge Charger was pushed into the median, crossed back across both lanes of traffic, slid off the right side of the roadway, overturned, and came to rest in the trees,” ASP said.
The driver of the Dodge Charger sustained serious injuries in the crash.
Police say that the Peterbilt driver did not stop after the crash and continued driving south on I-530.
Anyone with information is asked to call ASP Troop E Headquarters at (870) 247-1483.
