Best Buy electronics stolen from locked semi trailer in ‘overnight heist,’ California sheriff says

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) is investigating an overnight cargo theft incident that resulted in the loss of tens of thousands of dollars worth of electronics.

Shortly before 3:30 a.m. on August 5, 2026, TCSO responded to 6000 block of Avenue 304 in Goshen, California, after a cargo theft was reported.

Once on scene, “Deputies learned three pallets of electronics that were supposed to be delivered to Best Buy were stolen from a locked truck trailer.”

TCSO described the incident as an “overnight heist.”

The value of the stolen items is estimated at $20,000 to $25,000.
