Body cam footage shows OSHP Trooper arresting trucker for OVI after concerned citizen reports dangerous driving

Body cam footage from an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper shows parts of an OVI arrest following dangerous driving reports from a concerned citizen. 

The OSHP Facebook post states that the Ashland Station received reports of a tractor trailer operating dangerously from a concerned citizen, prompting a trooper to respond. The trooper then stopped the semi truck on the shoulder of I-71. 

During the encounter, the trooper noted that he could smell alcohol on the truck driver’s breath and in the truck cab, and also noticed that the door to the trailer was not properly closed. 

“How do you drive a truck down the road and you don’t close the door? You don’t come back and check it?” the trooper asked the driver. 

The truck driver was arrested for Operating a Vehicle Impaired.
