Body cam footage shows trucker accused of stalking speeding off with officer hanging off cab

Police officer body cam footage shows the moment a truck driver accused of stalking sped off with a police officer still hanging onto his truck cab. 

In the video, police officers can be seen confronting the truck driver after he fled an IHOP, where he was accused of stalking an individual at the restaurant. 

From the perspective of the second officer, at around minute 3:30, two officers try to get the truck driver to turn off his truck and get out of the cab, but the driver refuses. The driver eventually speeds off with one of the officers still hanging off of the driver side door. The officer falls off the rig before the driver exits the Walmart parking lot where the confrontation took place. He reportedly suffered a concussion and a broken leg from the fall. 

Video from the body cam of the officer who was thrown from the truck can be seen around minute 7:20. 

The truck driver was pursued by police until he was eventually shot. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. He is facing charges of aggravated menacing, obstruction of official business, willful fleeing and felonious assault on a police officer.
