Buc-ee’s closing 26-year-old location in South Texas to make way for 7-Eleven

Buc-ee’s is closing one of its older stores in South Texas to make way for a 7-Eleven with a Laredo Taco Company inside.

The location in Port Lavaca, Texas first opened in 2000, and is a smaller store than the massive locations the company is known for.

According to Complex News, the location will soon turn into a 7-Eleven with a Laredo Taco Company inside.

“I did get an email from a sign company, on March 16, stating that Buc-ee’s is being rebranded as 7-Eleven with a Laredo Taco,” said Derrick Smith, director of the Port Lavaca Building and Standards Commission Board.

There is no information yet on whether the company is planning to build a larger, more modern Buc-ee’s location in the South Texas area in the future.
