Buc-ee’s parking ban isn’t just for truckers anymore

Buc-ee’s strict parking lot rules are now irritating motorists as well as truckers across the internet.

Buc-ee’s has infamously been running off truckers for years, and recently expanded the ban to include any and all commercial vehicles. Then the company created a policy preventing anyone from paying for gas inside at the cashier, even with a gift card. Now, patrons have noticed yet another strict rule: No naps at Buc-ees.

According to My San Antonio, multiple motorists report having been asked to leave when trying to grab a few moments of shut eye during a long road trip. The FAQ page on the site also states that Buc-ee’s specifically bans parking for an “extended amount of time.” This means don’t leave your car there if you’re going to, let’s say, get picked up by a friend; and definitely don’t leave your car there if you happen to break down nearby.

“In our efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment for all of our customers, we cannot accommodate vehicles for an extended amount of time in our lots,” the company states.
