The California Highway Patrol (CHP) found hundreds of violations during a recent operation targeting commercial vehicles in the central coast area.
On January 30, 2026, CHP’s Coastal Division, headquartered in San Luis Obispo, reported on a recent two day detail during which “Commercial Enforcement Unit personnel focused on moving violations to improve roadway safety throughout our central coast.”
