Car hauler found deceased pinned against roof of trailer by vehicle
A car hauler was found deceased pinned against the roof of his trailer outside of a car dealership in Michigan this week.
Police were called to Gravity Auto Sales on Gratiot Avenue south of 10 Mile Road in Macomb County, Michigan at about 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4th.
According to Macomb Daily, the truck driver was unloading his car hauler when he became pinned between a vehicle inside of the trailer and the roof of the trailer.
“Unfortunately, when the officers arrived, the man was already deceased,” police said of the incident. Investigators believe he had been trapped for at least 30 minutes. He has been identified only as a 55-year-old man from Missouri.
Investigators say there is no suspicion of foul play. The Macomb County Technical Rescue Team was called to the scene to help extricate the body. No further information has been released.
