5/4/2026, Kansas City, MO – CDLLife, a trusted online network for professional truck drivers, today announced a new partnership with the Commercial Vehicle Training Association (CVTA), the nation’s largest association of professional truck driver training programs. Through this partnership, CDLLife will bring greater visibility to CVTA member schools across its network, including the CDLLife student site, CDLLife.com, CDLLife mobile app, social channels, and newsletters, helping future drivers more easily access high-quality training. It will also create a clearer path for newly qualified drivers to find jobs and build lasting careers with top employers.
CVTA represents more than 400 training locations nationwide and helps train over 100,000 new drivers each year. CVTA works to advance the quality and integrity of entry-level driver training through advocacy, research, and the promotion of enforceable training standards that improve highway safety and workforce outcomes. The association has been instrumental in championing oversight and enforcement in the training space. CVTA’s member schools must pass through an oversight committee to join the organization and include private and public programs that collectively serve as the primary gateway into the professional trucking workforce.
“Helping individuals enter trucking through legitimate, high-quality training programs is essential to both safety and long-term career success,” said Jeff Burkhardt, Chairman of CVTA’s Board of Directors. “By partnering with CDLLife, we are making it easier for future drivers to identify reputable training providers and connect directly with real job opportunities, creating a clearer and more trusted pathway into the industry.”
For many new drivers entering the trucking industry, navigating where to start and which training programs to trust can be a challenge. This partnership helps address that gap by providing clear access to reputable schools and real job opportunities in one place.
“We all want the trucking industry to thrive and that begins with ensuring a continual stream of high quality, well trained professionals,” said Kevin Hall, CEO of CDLLife. “CVTA and CDLLife represent the nexus and reach to bring this to reality.”
This partnership aligns with the shared mission of CDLLife and CVTA to better support drivers by connecting them with the training and opportunities they need to get started and succeed. For more information, please contact info@cdllife.com.
