CHP hosts party at scale house for Walmart truck driver’s 4 million safe miles

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) hosted an event celebrating a Walmart truck driver for his remarkable safety achievement.

Last week, the CHP troopers hosted a celebration at the Cottonwood Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility located off of I-5 in Cottonwood, California.

The event honored the achievements of Walmart Transportation truck driver Paul Mitchell, who achieved four million accident-free miles in his trucking career.

“Reaching this elite milestone is like driving to the moon and back eight times with a flawless record. Thank you, Paul, for decades of dedication to keeping our highways safe!” troopers said.

According to the Red Bluff-Tehama County Chamber of Commerce, Mitchell was surprised during the ceremony with “a well deserved new tractor.”
