CHP issued 352 citations to truckers during one-day commercial vehicle enforcement detail on I-15

Multiple divisions of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) partnered for a coordinated “Commercial Strike Force operation” along the I-15 corridor.

On February 26, 2026, several CHP divisions partnered to conduct a “large scale” commercial vehicle detail spanning the length of I-15 from San Diego to the Nevada state line.

The purpose of the operation was to enhance commercial vehicle safety and protect the motoring public, CHP said.
