The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Highway Patrol asked truck drivers to verify vehicle heights after a recent overpass strike in Glendale.
Officials said that on June 10, 2026, a large commercial vehicle struck the overpass for 83rd Avenue in Glendale, Arizona.
The truck overturned following the overpass strike.
No injuries were reported.

Arizona troopers used the incident to remind commercial vehicle drivers to check their height before setting out on a trip.
“This incident serves as a critical reminder to always confirm your equipment is in the proper travel position before moving your vehicle. Verify your total vehicle height against all upcoming bridges and overpass clearances,” AZDPS said.
Officials described the vehicle as a crane, but it appears to be a heavy-duty wrecker.
