‘Concentrated’ commercial vehicle inspection detail coming to I-10 Port of Entry in Arizona this week

Dozens of commercial vehicle inspectors will partner for the annual “Operation Full House” enforcement effort in Arizona this week.

This year, Operation Full House will take place March 25 — 26 “at and around” the I-10 Ehrenberg Port of Entry. The operation will be conducted by multiple agencies with a mission of “ensuring safe, secure and efficient commercial transport across Arizona.”

The Ehrenberg Port of Entry is located on eastbound I-10 at mile marker 3.5, near the California state line.

More than 50 commercial vehicle inspectors from the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) and local law enforcement agencies will take part in the operation.

“The operation will place special emphasis on motor carrier safety regulations, including driver qualification, hours of service and overall safe operation. Personnel will target moving violations, distracted driving and seat belt violations while conducting commercial vehicle inspections to ensure that commercial drivers and vehicles comply with commercial vehicle regulations and state laws,” ADOT said.

Operation Full House is being conducted as with assistance from the Arizona Commercial Vehicle Safety Partnership, which is made up of ADOT Enforcement and Compliance Division officers and AZDPS State Troopers.
