Concerned citizens call Missouri cops about commercial truck’s decal

Police in Macon, Missouri, recently responded to callers concerned about the welfare of a man who appeared to be standing on the back of a commercial truck.

On May 3, 2026, the Macon, MO Police Department issued a statement on social media about a recent incident involving an image on the rear of a semi trailer.

Police said they “received calls to check the wellbeing of a man standing in the back of a semi trailer for a long period of time today.”

Macon Police officers responded to the calls and confirmed that “this is not an actual person, but a decal on the rear door of a Kohl’s Wholesale trailer.”

“If you see this, please know it has been checked out!” the Macon Police Department said.
