A popular truck stop in Cornersville, Tennessee, is set to reopen next month under the Dolly Parton brand.
The grand opening of Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop, located at exit 22 off of I-65 in Cornersville, is officially set for June 24, 2026.
The reimagined Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop is possible through a partnership between Dolly Parton, her manager Danny Nozell, and Gregory H. Sachs, who owned and operated the Tennessean Travel Stop since 2017.
“Inspired by her lifelong connection to the open road, from her childhood in the hills of East Tennessee to decades spent touring the world by bus, it reimagines what a roadside stop can be for truck drivers, families, and travelers of all kinds. Blending regional roots and high-quality service with her signature warmth and Tennessee spirit, the travel stop offers a welcoming place to rest, refuel, and make the road a little kinder,” Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop said.
The new Tennessean Travel Stop will feature “standout barbecue offerings from DLY BBQ, a fresh cup of Dolly’s Cup of Ambition Coffee, and a full-service sit-down cafe & restaurant.”
Other amenities will include:
In 2021, a fire occurred at the original Tennessean Truck Stop, causing the ceiling over the restaurant portion of the truck stop to collapse and resulting in a long-term closure.
