Dozens of commercial vehicle violations discovered during ‘Maximum Enforcement’ detail at Arizona rest area

Arizona law enforcement officers conducted a commercial vehicle enforcement campaign at a rest area off of I-17 this week.

The “Commercial Vehicle Maximum Enforcement detail” took place from 7 a.m. until noon on March 17, 2026, at the southbound McGuireville Rest Area, located off I-17 in Rimrock, Arizona.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol, the operation was conducted by the Arizona Department of Transportation Enforcement and Compliance Division and the State Regulated Vehicle Squad.
