Colorado law enforcement agencies recently conducted a commercial vehicle checkpoint that uncovered dozens of violations, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) said.
On July 30, 2026, DCSO partnered with the Colorado State Patrol Monument Port of Entry Mobile Scales to set up a mobile checkpoint for commercial vehicles on Chambers Road, just south of Mainstreet, in Douglas County.

“The goal of these mobile checkpoints is to ensure large trucks on our roads are operating safely and following the law,” DCSO said.
