‘Eyes on the Road’ campaign calls on transportation companies to help find missing children in Georgia

Georgia authorities are partnering with private sector companies for a new public safety initiative to help locate missing children.

On April 2, 2026,  Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr launched the “Eyes on the Road” campaign.

The “Eyes on the Road” campaign seeks to empower private sector companies in the fight against human trafficking in Georgia, with an emphasis on locating missing children.

Companies that enroll in the program receive Be On The Lookout (BOLO) alerts for missing children, as well as clear steps for reporting sightings.

Several companies and organizations are already participating in “Eyes on the Road,” including the United Parcel Service (UPS), RaceTrac, Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT), and the Georgia Hotel & Lodging Association (GHLA).

“The majority of our human trafficking cases involve a missing child, and we’re using all available resources to safely bring them home,” said Carr. “By partnering with UPS, RaceTrac, Truckers Against Trafficking, and GHLA, we’re able to expand our footprint and save even more lives. We will never stop fighting to protect our most vulnerable Georgians.”

“A trained and engaged driver workforce dedicated to making a simple phone call can and will change lives,” said UPS.
