A flatbedder does his best to avoid a sedan that pulled out in front of him in this rear-facing camera video.
The video was filmed at about 10:30 a.m. in Taylor, Texas earlier this month.
In the video, a flatbedder with a lowboy is driving along with a rear facing camera when the driver begins to move to the left. After a moment, a white sedan comes into view and bounces off one of the truck’s fenders, ripping off the front end of the car.
The car then comes to a stop in the right lane of travel while the truck driver slows down and pulls over. Further along in the video, a dash cam shows the truck driver clearly in his lane and driving forward when the white car just decides to exit the HEB and basically drive right into the path of the rig. Thankfully, the trucker was able to safely swerve and does his best to avoid a more serious accident.
“Another individual that was trying to get an insurance claim?? You tell me! Forward and rear facing cameras are a must to ensure your protection nowadays. Everyone is ok and Rilee did an outstanding job attempting to avoid this absolute idiot!” reads the video caption.
