Florida sheriff shares video of pickup hauling trailer loaded with cars striking police cruiser on I-4

The Volusia Sheriff’s Office (VSO) shared video of a recent crash involving a patrol vehicle as a reminder to drivers about the importance of moving over for emergency vehicles.

VSO shared the video on March 17, 2026. It was captured on I-4 in Volusia County, Florida.

“A deputy was headed back to his patrol vehicle when a pickup pulling a trailer hit the driver’s side. Could have been a tragedy, but instead it’s the latest reminder to stay alert and Move Over for vehicles on the side of the road,” VSO said.
