Illinois State Police (ISP) troopers uncovered thousands of violations during a commercial vehicle blitz that took place over a three day period in June.
According to Illinois State Police Troop 10, the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Bureau held a “South Region June Blitz” from June 9 through June 11, 2026.
As part of the detail, troopers patrolled I-57 “to enforce Illinois laws and federal motor carrier safety regulations.”

- 198 driver out-of-service orders
- 83 vehicle out-of- service orders
