Indiana trooper finds 17 violations on pickup truck hauling trailer

An Indiana State Police (ISP) trooper found a large number of violations after stopping a pickup truck hauling a trailer with an unsecured load.

On Friday, January 9, 2026, ISP Trooper Angermeier stopped a pickup truck with an attached trailer along US 50 in Vincennes.

According to Sgt. Todd Ringle-ISP Evansville District, the traffic stop uncovered a total of 17 violations, including:

  • No lights
  • No brakes
  • Flat tire
  • No break away cable
  • No safety chains
  • Load not secured correctly

The trailer was towed from the scene.
