The Kentucky State Police (KSP) recently released commercial vehicle enforcement data from January 2026, showing that hundreds of trucks were inspected in the East Region.
On March 10, 2026, troopers shared results achieved by the KSP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement East Region in January 2026.
KSP East Region troopers conducted 531 commercial vehicle inspections and cited 431 violations.
Additionally, 18 commercial vehicle drivers were placed out-of-service in January.
KSP East Region placed 52 commercial vehicles out-of-service in January.
“CVE East Region officers, troopers and inspectors work across 25 counties to keep commercial drivers, passengers, and communities safe,” Kentucky troopers said.
KSP’s East Region includes Bath, Boyd, Breathitt, Carter, Elliott, Fleming, Floyd, Greenup, Johnson, Knott, Lawrence, Leslie, Letcher, Lewis, Magoffin, Martin, Mason, Menifee, Montgomery, Morgan, Perry, Pike, Powell, Rowan and Wolfe Counties.
