A log truck was taken off Texas roadways after a commercial vehicle inspection revealed nearly two dozen violations.
A log truck that “looked like any other truck on a Texas highway” was recently placed out-of-service for serious safety issues, according to an August 24 social media post shared by the Texas Department of Public Safety’s (TXDPS) North Texas Region.
After taking a closer look at the log truck during an inspection, TXDPS troopers located 23 violations, including five critical out-of-service violations.
Some of the violations uncovered by TXDPS inspectors include:
“That’s why commercial vehicle inspections matter. What looks normal from a distance isn’t always safe up close,” officials said.
