Louisiana sheriff seeks suspect who threw object through semi’s windshield, severely injuring truck driver
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) is asking for help locating a suspect who threw an object from a moving vehicle at a semi truck in the Spring Creek, Louisiana, area, resulting in major injuries to the truck driver.
Late on August 16, 2026, a semi truck driver was traveling on Highway 1054 near Forbes Road in Spring Creek when her truck’s windshield shattered, causing glass to fly into the cab.
TPSO said that broken glass “severely injured” one of her eyes and that she is still receiving medical treatment.
Investigators learned that the windshield was shattered when a suspect inside of a red, four-door sedan with chrome rims, threw an object at the semi truck while traveling in the opposite direction.
