A man is being held on more than $1 million bond after shooting at a family member’s semi truck in Tennessee on Sunday.
The incident happened at about 3:20 a.m. at 203 South Young Street in Sparta, Tennessee on April 12th.
According to WSMV4, a truck driver called police after noticing sounds of someone hitting his truck cab door and then witnessing a family member pointing a gun at him from outside of the truck. The family member reportedly fired multiple shots at the semi truck, sending two rounds through the windshield.
The victim stayed inside of his truck and was not hurt. The shooter was identified as a family member of the victim, 37-year-old Gilberto Tejero-Gonzales. Officers discovered damage to the semi truck, multiple spent shell casings, and a projectile when they arrived on the scene.
Tejero-Gonzalez was arrested and booked on charges of attempted first degree murder, unlawful possession of a firearm (by a felon), and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. He is currently being held in White County Jail on a $1.077 million bond, reported Fox 17.
