Police recovered half a million dollars worth of stolen cargo after executing a search warrant at a business in Rialto, California.
On July 28, a search warrant was served at a discount retail store in Rialto as part of a California Highway Patrol (CHP) Inland Division Cargo Theft Interdiction Program investigation.
CHP recovered more than $500,000 worth of stolen goods from the business location.

Investigators believe that the store was storing stolen goods from multiple cargo theft incidents in Southern California.
The stolen cargo has been returned to owners.

Officials did not provide information on any arrests or charges issued in connection with the cargo theft recovery.
“Cargo theft impacts businesses, consumers, and our economy. The CHP remains committed to disrupting organized cargo theft, recovering stolen property, and holding those responsible accountable,” troopers with the Inland Division said.
The investigation is ongoing.
