Motorists charged after I-70 road rage incident caught on trucker’s dash cam

Police shared dash cam video of a road rage incident that took place in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, this week.

On June 10, 2026, the Wheat Ridge Police Department (WRPD) received a call about a road rage situation on I-70 approaching W 32nd Avenue.

Police said video evidence showed two motorists “swerving between lanes and brake checking each other, before each driver exited their vehicle for a confrontation.”

With help from the Lakewood Police Department, police were able to track down both drivers. Both drivers admitted to taking part in the road rage incident, and both were charged with disorderly conduct, police said.

“I-70 is dangerous enough without people stopping in the middle of the highway and getting out of their cars. Don’t do that,” WRPD said.
