Multi semi truck fire spreads to building and traps employee in a cooler

A fire involving multiple semi trucks spread to a building in Minnesota on Friday morning, leading to the entrapment of an employee inside a cooler.

The fire started at about 8 a.m. on February 13th at Quality Custom Distribution at 2501 Walnut Street in Roseville, Minnesota.

According to the City of Roseville, the fire started in one tractor trailer, spread to others, and eventually spread to the building. One employee ended up trapped inside of a cooler inside of the building due to poor visibility because of smoke.

Firefighters were able to search the building and rescue the employee. No one was hurt in the incident.

Crews worked to extinguish hot spots for two hours after the initial incident. The damage was mostly limited to the tractor trailers, with only minor damage to the building. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
