Oklahoma trooper walks you through a Level I Roadcheck truck inspection in new video
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) shared an informative video that allows viewers to follow along as a trooper performs a commercial vehicle inspection as part of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s (CVSA) International Roadcheck campaign.
The Roadcheck inspection campaign is underway from May 12 — 14, 2026, throughout North America.
On the first day of the Roadcheck effort, OHP shared an 18 minute video during which Trooper Erik Terrell walks viewers through a Level I inspection process to give truckers a better idea of what to expect if they are pulled in for an inspection this week.
Trooper Terrell pays special attention to the inspected truck’s cargo securement in the video. Cargo securement and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) tampering are the two areas of focus for Roadcheck 2026.
