Multiple agencies partnered for a single day commercial vehicle inspection operation in Virginia.
The detail took place on June 3, 2026, in Bealeton, Virginia, resulting in the discovery of 156 violations, including commercial vehicle violations and driver violations, the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) said.
“Large trucks need to be safely equipped and operated or every driver nearby is at risk,” police said.

FCSO shared videos of some of the violations uncovered by inspectors.
“A loose bracket holding hazardous material on a truck frame. Another bracket was broken into two pieces,” FCSO said.
“The weight (9,700 pounds) on one wheel of a truck hauling sand. Total weight of truck was nearly 6000 pounds OVER max. allowable weight,” FCSO said.
Other participating agencies include the Virginia DMV, Fairfax County Police Department, Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, Prince William County Police Department, Manassas City Police Department, Virginia State Police, and the Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office.
